Prince Georges County Year Round Youth Program
In partnership with the Prince Georges County Economic Development Corporation, Business Interface is offering a Year-Round GED and Career Development Program for PG County youth residents who are 16 – 21 years of age. Empower Baltimore Project
In partnership with the Empower Baltimore Management Corporation, Business Interface is offering two training programs to Baltimore City empower zone residents. The Customer Service Associate training is being offered as well as intensive Job Readiness Assistanceprograms to eligible residents. The programs are free to candidates that live within designated empower zone areas and meet income requirements.Contact the Baltimore Center for more information.
Careers in Hospitality
In partnership with Alexandria Works!, Business Interface is offering a four-week job readiness program for TANF recipients. The program will expose students to a variety of skill sets required for jobs in the hospitality field (i.e., lodging, food services, travel, etc). Customer Service Associate Training Business Interface announces its Customer Service Associate (CSA) training program. CSA is a 4-6 week training program that introduces program participants to basic business skills (the application of reading and math, use of computer and appropriate telephone skills); the service industry, business practices, developing positive customer relations, presentation skills, problem solving./conflict management, diffusing angry customer, understanding customer satisfaction, serving customers, communicating effectively with customers, workplace etiquette, and personal effectiveness. Upon completion of the training program participants have the basic skill set that meets industry standards for placement in entry-level service industry jobs requiring customer service skills – hospitality, tourism, retail, manufacturing, transportation and warehousing. Graduates of the program receive a Certification of Completion.Business Interface is also a testing site for the National Retail Federation Foundation’s Professional Certification in Customer Service, which is a nationally recognized industry certification.Tuition assistance is available for eligible candidates.
